Anonymous survey for friends, family members, and partners of MAPs

Anonymous survey for friends, family members, and partners of MAPs

Friends, family members, and partners of MAPs play an important role in their lives, but little is known about how these people experience having a relationship with somebody who is attracted to children. This survey will explore the experiences of MAPs’ friends, family members, and partners in relation to their experiences of disclosure, and their relationships with the MAP in their lives. It should take around 10-15 minutes to complete this survey. The research team is made up of Dr. Rebecca Lievesley, Dr. Craig Harper, Grace Mitchelmore, and Sarah Manley (all from Nottingham Trent University, UK).

MAPs are especially encouraged to forward this study link to any friends, family members, and partners that they have disclosed to.

The survey is completely anonymous. It does not ask for any identifiable information, it does not collect IP addresses and it can be accessed using a Tor browser. The link to the survey is below – the first page provides full information about the study and you can then choose whether or not to take part. If you have any questions please email the study lead on [email protected]. Please feel free to share or post elsewhere to increase the reach of this research.
