We’re here to protect children and make them happy. Unlike adult relationships, we don’t get to commit ourselves to one child. Over the years we’ll have multiple children whom we’ll meet and hopefully leave a positive impact on. But they’ll eventually outgrow us. But hopefully they’ll look back fondly on the time we shared. It’s bittersweet.
