This happened to me with J. She was a loving, friendly, and affection girl. I was in love with her, and hoped to one day marry her. I even got her family’s blessing when she turned 17.
She added me on Facebook, and we talked awhile. But she no longer had feelings for me. I can accept that, it happens. But she started posting and sharing Pro-MAGA and Pro-Trump stuff. She started saying and repeating a lot of hateful and ignorant things. It got to the point that it was negatively affecting my mental health, and I had to mute her, so I couldn’t see her posts.
I’ll always love her. Always have feelings for her. Would probably go on a date with her. But I know we’re incompatible as longterm partners. So I just have to cherish the good times we had together.
