Most of us remember where we were on the day of the September 11, 2001 attacks. But do you remember the day before? The innocence and security we felt? The world changed on 9/11. The children we love will never experience the world as we did before that fateful day. I watched a video created by ABC News (America) on the 10th anniversary. It had the line “It was the last day of then, before the first day of now.” That hit me hard. That day just brought about the end of innocence for me. It was when I started growing up and realized just how much evil there was in the world. And I just feel nostalgic for the time before it.
